Studio
Paris 16th arr. · since 2009Since 2009, Architecture-AL has designed housing, offices, industrial and cultural facilities, retail, and hotels, in France and abroad: from a Paris apartment to the aeronautics hub in Istres, from an abbey in Normandy to a hotel in French Guiana.
We lead projects from concept design through construction detailing, for private clients, companies, and fellow architects, for whom we take on one or more phases. Our work connects construction and digital technology: BIM models, 3D renderings, virtual reality, and BPO, the configurator for building components and buildings that we develop.

Antoine Lacronique — Architect & BIM Expert
An architect who graduated from the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris (1996), Antoine Lacronique has spent nearly 30 years exploring the convergence of physical space and digital innovation.
A career at the forefront
As early as his thesis project, he created the @irnet C.A.F.E concept, a pioneering vision of digital access for all, for Radio Nova and Novapress (alongside J.F. Bizot).
He then founded the practice impactArchitecture (1996–2006), where he collaborated with prestigious names such as Marc Barani and Rena Dumas, and worked on large-scale projects for the Stade de France, Unibail, and the POPB.
The digital pivot: The GDL & BIM revolution
A world-leading expert in GDL technology for Graphisoft, Antoine became the bridge between the building industry and digital architecture. Founder of Abvent Industrie and of the Cat-e (electronic catalog) platform, he revolutionized architectural specification by creating smart 3D catalog and configurator solutions for global leaders such as:
- Technology & Innovation: Google, Trimble.
- Industry & Design: Saint-Gobain, Isover, Technal, Velux, Grohe, Terreal.
Architecture_AL: Expertise that serves the project
Drawing on this dual expertise — command of parametric tools and the rigor of construction — he founded Architecture_AL in 2009.
Today, he works closely with his clients, taking a resolutely contemporary and personalized approach. His studio designs projects in which high-level digital expertise takes a back seat to close attention to the client and a passionate architecture focused on use and aesthetics.
An architectural or urban challenge, a project? Let’s talk!
An architect holding the HMONP (French license to practice architecture under one’s own name) and a graduate of the École Spéciale d’Architecture, Adèle Rebours has worked in the field of architecture for more than 10 years and today serves as project manager on projects at various scales.
After several years with the firm GOES-Peron Architectes, she joined the studio 3 years ago.
Her approach combines architectural sensitivity, technical rigor, and project coordination, with a good command of BIM and architectural representation tools.
ARCHITECT - VISUAL ARTIST
After graduating from the École Spéciale d’Architecture in June 1999 and after a period at Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Olivier Hart moved to North Africa as a partner in a French multidisciplinary architecture firm specializing in high-end hotel projects.
TN Studio, a firm bringing together architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and lighting designers, would be behind numerous residential, retail, hotel, and urban planning projects.
Olivier Hart then focused on working across the different scales of architectural projects, through the design of high-end contemporary Mediterranean villas as well as large hotel projects for major international brands (Starwood, Mövenpick, Radisson, Hyatt, Sheraton, Marriott, Leading Hotels…).
Completed hotel projects in the Mediterranean, the UAE, West Africa, and Singapore.
Practicing in Paris since 2016, Olivier Hart has developed an eclecticism born of multiple practices and interests: architecture, of course, but also interior architecture and design. And, finally, the visual arts.
Cyril Chênebeau, born in 1971, is an architect in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) and holds the DPLG (French state-certified architecture degree). He graduated from the École d’architecture Paris Tolbiac in 1997 with highest honors from a jury chaired by Alexandre Chemetoff (2000 Grand Prix de l’urbanisme, France’s national urban planning award).
Starting in 2001, at Marc Barani’s firm, he notably led the design work, then the construction administration, for the multimodal transit hub and tramway maintenance facility in Nice, a project that received the Équerre d’Argent prize in 2008.
In 2008, he went into private practice and has since been developing his own projects across diverse project types and programs: single-family and multifamily housing, office buildings, rehabilitations, interior build-outs, public facilities, and infrastructure and transportation projects.
In 2015, he received two awards for the rehabilitation of a rural house in Sclos de Contes (Alpes-Maritimes): the Rehabilitation Prize as part of the ArchiCOTE competition and the MPF – Patrimoine & Architecture Prize awarded by the Maisons Paysannes de France association.
In 2021 and 2022, he received, in consecutive years, the ArchiCOTE competition’s Rehabilitation Prize for the creation of an apartment built around a courtyard in downtown Nice, and the Single-Family House Prize for a house designed for a contemporary art collector in Le Rouret (Alpes-Maritimes).
Several of his most recent completed projects are in housing: in 2020, he completed a major rehabilitation of 96 housing units in Cap-d’Ail (Alpes-Maritimes), then, the following year, 8 affordable housing units built on a steep site near Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes). In 2022, he completed 11 senior housing units in the Saint-Barthélémy neighborhood of Nice, as well as 2 wood-construction cabins on stilts for use as tourist accommodations, on the edge of Mercantour National Park, for the Alpes-Maritimes departmental council.
The firm Cyril Chênebeau Architectes continues to grow, working on diverse projects at various scales, such as the construction of a restaurant pavilion on the grounds of the Musée Fernand Léger in Biot (Alpes-Maritimes), a project for horticultural production greenhouses for the City of Nice’s new parks department in the Nice Méridia – Grand Parc neighborhood, in association with the firm MILK, and the creation of a parking structure topped by an “overlook” space at the foot of the old village of Aspremont, in the hinterland of Nice.
Passionate about strategic challenges and business transformation projects, Justin worked as Chief Financial Officer for large corporate groups before becoming an entrepreneur and then an advisor to startups and a family office. He recently joined Architecture-AL to drive the studio’s growth. With Irish and New Zealand roots, he is bilingual and passionate about rugby.
Our tools
The studio is equipped with ArchiCAD and Lumion licenses, tools we have mastered at an expert level, and several Mac and PC workstations. It also develops its own software:
BPO
Configures building components and buildings to your dimensions, in your finishes, and exports them to IFC, DAE, or OBJ, ready to place in ArchiCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
bpo.archi →CALQUE
Online design review: the IFC model and PDF drawings are shared with the team and the client and annotated remotely; a Products tab lets the client approve 3D objects and product data sheets, prices included.
calque.bpo.archi →MOULINETTE
Simplifies heavy 3D models (OBJ, DAE, 3DS) while preserving small parts, detects and fixes defects on import, and exports lightweight objects, all the way to a .glb ready for Calque.
NUAGE
Offline point cloud viewer: surveys of more than one hundred million points, imported as .xyz, .pts, or .csv, explored in real time, with height clipping.
PDFBPO
The studio’s PDF editor: compress, correct text, sign, reorder, extract or merge pages, and print.
